Recent changes in administrative policy will allow urban growers and smallholder farms with less than 5 acres to participate as vendors in the WIC/Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP).
Rutgers will host a webinar on March 20, 2024 at 10am-12pm in which representatives of NJ Department of Agriculture and NJ Department of Health will explain the new rules and eligibility requirements for urban growers.
Presentations from the Natural Resources Conservation Service and Rutgers Cooperative Extension will offer growers additional information on soil and water testing at their sites.
