City Green is looking for another fruit and vegetable vendor to join our Veggie Mobile market at Passaic City Hall (330 Passaic St. Passaic NJ) this upcoming market season. We will be there every Friday from June-November from 10am-2pm.
To clarify, this is a farm stand location with room for another vendor- not a farmers market.
Passaic City Hall is one of our longest standing market locations, and we see up to 100 shoppers there every Friday. As a small farm, the demand we see there is sometimes too much for our inventory, hence why we are inviting another vendor!
Important things to note:
- This will be a weekly commitment for the full June-November 2025 season
- Vendors should have Spanish-speaking staff on hand, as the majority of our customers at PCH speak Spanish
- We are a food access nonprofit that doubles the value of FMNP and SNAP/EBT federal benefits at all of our market locations through the Good Food Bucks Nutrition Incentive Program. Good Food Bucks Partners can be reimbursed up to $10,000 for SNAP fruit and vegetable incentives given at market
- About 75% of our 2023 transactions at PCH were Federal Benefits transactions- so interested vendors must be SNAP & FMNP authorized
- If you are not currently a SNAP/FMNP authorized vendor but are interested in becoming one, please reach out! I can direct you in the right direction regarding that process.
- We are interested in vendors who can bring high volumes of fruit each week, as well as vegetables that complement City Green’s own offerings. This will require an amount of coordination with City Green each week so as not to have conflicting offerings and prices
