Greetings,
Are you involved in urban or peri-urban agriculture (UPA) in New Jersey? You may be eligible for a paid interview study that explores how UPA operates across NJ municipalities, the policies shaping it, and its role in food access and community engagement.
The NASA-funded study is being conducted by Rowan University researchers in collaboration with the NJ Food Democracy Collaborative. It builds on existing urban agriculture research, with a specific focus on food production in NJ’s cities and towns.
We are interested in hearing from three main types of stakeholders involved in UPA in NJ: 1) City Officials, 2) Nonprofit or Community Organization Leaders, and 3) Urban/Peri-Urban Farmers or Community Garden Organizers.
Please follow THIS LINK to complete the screener survey to see if you qualify. Selected respondents will be invited to a 45–60 minute virtual interview. The screener is uncompensated but interview participants receive a $100 gift card honorarium (City Officials are ineligible for the honorarium per policy). Following the interview, the researchers can also provide a summary report of the respondent’s answers, if requested. Participants must be 18 or older.
